Abstract

The study was conducted to determine the perception on safe learning environment among 103 nuclear medicine technology students of De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute. This study utilized descriptive research design. Data was gathered using an adopted questionnaire and treated using frequency, mean, standard deviation, Kruskal Wallis H test, and Pairwise Comparison. Findings of the study showed that majority of the respondents were female, in third year, and were living with family/relatives. The respondents perceive their learning environment to be safe in terms of teachers, peers, and self, and extremely safe in terms of safety. Additionally, there is a significant difference in the respondents’ perception on safe learning environment when grouped according to year level, rejecting the null hypothesis and accepting the alternative hypothesis. However, there are no significant differences in the respondents’ perception on safe learning environment when grouped according to gender and living arrangements, not rejecting the null hypothesis.
