Abstract
This is a cross-sectional retrospective study. Twenty three patients aged 6-10 years old diagnosed with febrile seizures at De La Salle University Medical Center. The study concluded that febrile seizures that occurred beyond the age range can be alarming and can lead to epilepsy later in life. In dealing with patients, a detailed history and a thorough physical and neurological examination must be performed well. In the study, most of the patients presented with febrile seizure have history of febrile seizure before the age of 6, in which we can say that the febrile seizure can be present later beyond the expected age.
