Participants of the study were pediatric patients from 1 month old to 18 years of age; who experienced 1st time in-patients cardiac arrest in the hospital between January 2010 and December 2014. The study concluded that only 25.88% patients who underwent CPR sustained ROSC >20 minutes. Furthermore, no patient was able to sustain ROSC>24 hours. Significant factors associated with the outcome of resuscitation were age, time of call, CPR duration and clinical diagnosis.
