Abstract
The objective of the study is to determine the parents' knowledge, attitudes and practices on antibiotic use and knowledge on antibiotic resistance among children in Barangay Lucsuhin Ibaba in Alfonso, Cavite. A self-administered questionnaire divided into four parts was distributed to the parents. The parents were randomly selected by simple random sampling using lottery. Majority of the parents residing in Barangay Lucsuhin Ibaba, Alfonso, Cavite had inadequate knowledge, demonstrated appropriate attitudes and has adopted the correct practices on antibiotics use and resistance.
