The De La Salle University Medical Center experience of laparoscopic cholecystectomy from 2010-2016

Abstract
Chart review from a list of patient who underwent LC from January 2010 to December 2016 in De La Salle University Medical Center was acquired from the medical records. Out of 1283 patients, 809 were female and 474. The mean age was 44 years, majority were in third and fourth decade of life. Majority of cases were chronic calculous cholecystitis comprising 1033 subjects. it also has the fastest mean operative time at 85 minutes while gangrenous cholecystitis had the longest mean operative time at 129 minutes. The conversion rates were 0.5% an d0.4% chronic and acute cholecystitis respectively. The post-op hospital stay was 1-5 days. There was no mortality.
