Grynfeltt-Lesshaft hernia in a post-nephrectomy patient : a case report

Abstract

The author presents a case of a 53 year old male who is post nephrectomy, presenting with a month of history of bulging right flank mass near the lumbotomy scar site, initially diagnosed as a case of incisional hernia. An open surgery commenced, and the defect was noted to be at the Grynfeltt-Lesshaft triangle, to which a Prolene mesh was placed retromuscular.
