Abstract
This study was descriptive research design, specifically the laboratory observation method. Snowball sampling technique was utilized by the researchers in order to select the middle-aged respondents with type II diabetes along the locality of Dasmariñas City, Cavite. Adapted laboratory procedure such as the germ tube test was used and relevant data were afterwards tabulated and interpreted using central tendencies by the researchers. As observed, the results of the germ tube test showed absence of non-albicans candida from the ten samples of urine acquired from the participants of the study. However, two samples from the two female respondents manifested the Escherichia coli bacteria and one sample with streptococcus agalactiae.
