Abstract
The researchers used three varying concentration for the treatment group and distilled water for the control group. The researchers subjected the data they gathered on the ANOVA, and Tukey-test to conclude if there is a significant difference. Results showed that the T1 has an average of 13.80 branching blood vessels, followed by T2 with an average of 10.60, then T3 with 7.5. The control group showed the most abundant number of blood vessels of 16.90. The data proved that the T3 has the highest inhibition based on the number of visible blood vessels. The findings indicated that the aqueous solution of C. retusa has a potential as an angiogenic property. Statistical analysis revealed that there is a significant difference among the average of the branching point produced by the three treatment groups. To conclude, it is quite evident that the C. retusa has a promising anti-angiogenic agent, and could be a potential source of chemotherapeutic agents in the treatment of tumors.
