Abstract
Cross-sectional research design was used in this study. The study included 172 Grade II elementary students from Dasmarinas Elementary School obtained through probability simple cluster sampling. The participants were asked questions about their personal data to complete a general information tool. Then the researchers measured the actual height, knee height and weight using weighing scales, knee caliper and tape measures to determine the nutritional status and assess the knee height measurement of the participants. Data was analyzed through percentage, frequency distribution and Chi-square statistical test. The study concluded that there was significant relationship with knee height and height for age status of the participants while the BMI for Age and Weight for Age did not show relationship with the knee height measurements of the participants.
