Abstract
This study assessed the compliance with radiation and safety protocols among radiologic technologists in Batangas in accordance with the Department of Health Administrative Order No. 2022-0022. The study used a quantitative descriptive research design, the researchers surveyed 54 radiologic technologists from various hospitals across Batangas using a self-made questionnaire. The gathered data were subjected to statistical treatments such as frequency and percentage. The findings revealed that the majority of respondents demonstrated an excellent compliance with radiation protection and radiation safety protocols. In radiation protection, most respondents obtained an excellent level of compliance, while only a few were classified under the very good and good categories. In radiation safety, the respondents generally exhibited an excellent level of compliance, with a small number obtaining a very good level of compliance. Overall, the respondents showed excellent compliance with radiation protection and safety protocols, and no respondents were classified under the fair or poor categories.
