Abstract

This research aimed to identify the perceived efficiency of the Pomodoro Technique as a time management technique among the 158 radiologic technology students in De La Salle Medical and Health Sciences Institute during the second semester of Academic Year 2023-2024. This study used a descriptive research design to describe the results from the 16- item self-made questionnaire. The data gathered were statistically treated by using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and analysis of variance (ANOVA). Based on the demographic profile of the respondents, most of them are female first- year students, and living in a household. The findings of this study showed that most of the respondents perceived the Pomodoro Technique as an efficient time management technique. In general, there are no significant differences in the level of perceived efficiency of the Pomodoro Technique when the respondents are grouped according to sex and living arrangement. On the other hand, there is a significant difference in the level of perceived efficiency of the Pomodoro Technique as a time management technique when the respondents are grouped according to year level.
