Abstract

This study attempted to see the perceptions of radiation patients on radiology services in some selected hospitals. Services included in the study are: Ultrasound, Radiotherapy, and Diagnostic X-ray. Specifically, this study sought to answer the following questions: (1) What are the radiology services in some selected hospitals? (2) What are the number of patients who availed the radiology services in the selected hospitals? (3) What are the perceptions of the radiation patients on the radiology services? (3.1) Ultrasound (3.2) Radiotherapy (3.3) Diagnostic X-ray. The study made use of the descriptive survey design considering the nature of the problem. The respondents were 90 radiation patients in different hospitals and in different radiology services such as ultrasound, radiotherapy, and diagnostic x-ray. The percentage and the tally system were used to present the data found.
