Abstract
To determine the Relationship between the Adequacy of X-ray Facilities and the Clinical Performance of DLSU-Aguinaldo Radiologic Technology (RT) Interns Class 1992-1993. Specifically, this study aimed to: (1) Find out the extent of adequacy of existing x-ray facilities in the sampled hospitals in Metro Manila and Cavite. (2) Determine the level of clinical performance of the DLSU-Aguinaldo RT interns. (3) Find out if there is any significant relationship between the adequacy of x-ray facilities and the clinical performance of the respondents. This study was conducted in various affiliated hospitals where the RT interns rotated in during their clinical internship with the aim of determining if there is relationship between the adequacy of x-ray facilities and their clinical performance. A total of 16 hospitals were included in the study with 36 interns. Based on the computed Chi-square (x2) x2c 3.67 < 9.48 (d; f ? = 05), it was concluded that the adequacy of x-ray facilities has nothing to do with the clinical performance of RT interns or there is no relationship between the clinical performance and adequacy of x-ray facilities.
