Abstract

This study attempted to analyze the level of job satisfaction of the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic technology graduated of De La Salle University - Aguinaldo from SY 1989 - 1990 to SY 1992-1993. Specifically, it sought to answer the following questions: (1) What is the profile of the respondents? (2) What are the jobs of the respondents? (3) What is the level of their job satisfaction based on the following factors: a) present job b) present pay /benefits; c0 opportunities for promotion and professional growth; d) relationship with co-workers; e) relationship with superiors; and e) working conditions? It was hypothesized in this study that the respondents are not satisfied with their jobs.To determine the different factors affecting the job satisfaction of the Bachelor of Science in Radiologic technology graduates of De La Salle University-Aguinaldo, the normative-descriptive type of research was used.The respondents of the study were composed of 38 Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology graduates which comprised 50 percent of the total graduates of the university during the four consecutive school year. The Job Descriptive Index Scale designed by Patricia Cain Smith questionnaire was adapted and modified in this study. Based on the findings, the following conclusions were drawn: (1) The respondents are satisfied with their present jobs. (2) The factors that affected their level of satisfaction are relationship with co-workers, relationships with superiors, and working conditions.
