Abstract

The descriptive method was used in the study. The respondents were 400 patients from De La Salle University Medical Center who have undergone x-ray examination in November and December 2009 and selected using purposive sampling. An adapted questionnaire was used in data gathering. Frequency, f-test, percentage, mean, standard deviation and t-test were the statistical tools used for data analysis. The following conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were 26-45 years old, married, female, had a monthly income of P10,000 and below and graduated from college; 2) The patients who had undergone x-ray examination in De La Salle University Medical Center were highly satisfied in all three (3) aspects, specifically human caring and concern, technical expertise and high-quality customer service; 3) The level of satisfaction of patients undergoing x-ray examination in De La Salle University had no significant difference when grouped according to age, gender, civil status and socioeconomic status. However, there was significant difference when the respondents were grouped according to educational attainment.
