Abstract

This study used the descriptive method. Using purposive sampling, chief radiologic technologists and radiologic technologists employed in the hospitals in the province of Cavite and patients who had undergone radiographic procedure were selected as respondents. A self-made questionnaire was used to evaluate the performance of the radiologic technologists. Degrees of freedom, frequency, f-ratio, mean, percentage, standard deviation and t-ratio were used for data analysis. The study concluded that, 1) Majority of the radiologic technologists in the province of Cavite were 21-30 years old, male, married, earned P10,000 and below and had worked for 1-5 years; 2) The job performance of the radiologic technologists was excellent when both evaluated by radiologic technologists themselves and by the chief radiologic technologists while the patients’ evaluation was very good. Taken as a whole, this indicated that the radiologic technologists had an excellent job performance; 3) The job performance of the radiologic technologists in the province of Cavite had no significant relationship when grouped according to age, gender, civil status, monthly income, and length of service; 4) The evaluation of the three groups on the job performance of the radiologic technologists varied and had significant difference.
