Abstract

The study used descriptive method of research. It included 261 respondents from 18 hospitals, six (6) clinics and three (3) schools in the province of Cavite. The researchers used a non-probability, purposive sampling technique. The study utilized a self-made questionnaire to determine the perception of radiologic technologists regarding CPD. Frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test for indpendent means, analysis of variance and Duncan's multiple range test were the statistical tools used in the study. The study concluded that, 1) the study revealed that out of 261 respondents, majority of the respondents are female, belong to the age group of 29 years old and below, with two (2) to four(4) years working experience, having a monthly income of 10,000 to 29,999 pesos and are working in hospitals; 2) the study revealed that the respondents have a positive perception on the strengths , a negative perception on the weaknesses, a high positive perception on the opportunities, and a high negative perception on threats of CPD; 3) the perception on strengths of CPD does not significantly differ according to gender, age, length of service and monthly income. Respondents working in schools have more positive perception that those working in hospitals and clinics.
