Abstract

This study used the quasi-experimental group design involving 39 ward nurses who were assigned to comparison and treatment groups. A three-part examination was developed subjected to the test of validity to determine if the implemented intervention was effective. Frequency distribution, mean, t-test for independent means, paired t-test and standard deviation were the statistical tools used in the study. This study concluded that, 1) the comparison and treatment groups have very good knowledge regarding mobile radiography before and after educational intervention; 2) the knowledge regarding mobile radiography between the comparison and treatment groups did not differ significantly before and after education intervention; 3) there is no significant change in the knowledge of the comparison group in the pre-test and post-test scores. On the other hand, there is a significant improvement in the knowledge of the treatment group after the application of educational intervention.
