Abstract
This study employed a descriptive design using a survey technique. A self-made questionnaire distributed and chose 70 respondents from 14 affiliation centers in Metro Manila through simple quota sampling. Data analyzed using percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The physical therapy is the sports rehabilitation team not only confined to treatment and rehabilitation of sports injuries alone but also in sports fitness and training. The physical therapy has five general roles to play: 1) as a Clinician; 2) as a Researcher; 3) as a Health Educator, 4) as a Team Member, and 5) as an Administrator, each defined by specific roles of his work in the sports rehabilitation team. These specific roles presented here defined by physical therapists equipped with various learning activities, which helped them perceive the role of physical therapy in sports rehabilitation.
