Abstract

The study identified the five most common cases seen at the Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, DJPRMFI. It aimed to provide information among the Rehabilitation Personnel of the hospital when planning for a more comprehensive patient’s management. The study was a descriptive study made use of data from medical records of the patients in DJPRMFI. Used the frequency distribution of the total number of patients in each case, and the five most commonly identified. Results showed the five most common cases were Cerebrovascular Accident, Arthritis, Pulmonary Conditions, Fracture and Scoliosis that occurred at the adult age (22-64 years) affecting mostly female patients. Concerning the study, the authors highly recommend that efforts made through seminars and lectures by the Rehabilitation Personnel of DJPRMFI to educate the community regarding the immediate preventive and curative rehabilitation of the identified clinical conditions.
