Abstract
The researchers used descriptive design to identify the five most common conditions in Andaman General Hospital, which may benefit from physical therapy services. A survey instrument used to gather data regarding this study was a checklist made by the researchers. The results of this data showed that the highest number of frequency starting from Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease, Pneumonia, Low Back Pain, Hypertension and Cerebrovascular Accidents and Arthritis. Out of 41,378 patient’s records, only 15,658 patients met the criteria from the survey and included as samples in the study. The information obtained necessary or helpful since it may serve as baseline data in doing a further study regarding the most common conditions seen or encountered in Lucena City. This study may also be helpful material in the planning of setting up a physical therapy rehabilitation unit in Andaman General Hospital.
