Abstract

This study employed a descriptive design using a survey technique with self-made questionnaires distributed to 20 respondents chose from 10 physical centers in Metro Manila through simple quota sampling. The gathered data from the questionnaire tallied, tabulated, and analyzed, and interpreted using frequency percentage and mean. Based on the results, the researchers concluded (1) the service of most respondents were more than one (1) year. (2) The cervical traction prescribed for the relief of neck pain in various clinical conditions. (3) Among the 10 selected centers, four were public and six owned privately, (4) the researchers concluded, electrical cervical traction used almost frequently for degenerative osteoarthritis of the cervical spine using intermittent traction for 20 to 30 minutes at 1/5 to 1/6 the body weight.
