Abstract
The purpose of the study was to find out if there was a relationship between exposure and reactions towards a disabled child. The researchers used the descriptive design using survey technique. Self-made questionnaire was distributed to 100 respondents from public elementary schools in Bacoor, Cavite chosen through simple quota sampling. The data gathered were tabulated and analyzed. Data were gathered and interpreted using frequency percentage and mean. Based on the results of the study, the researchers therefore conclude that there is a little difference in the reactions of the exposed children and those were unexposed to the disabled. It is strongly recommend that this study be repeated to scientifically determine the relationship between exposure and reaction towards the disabled children. The following modifications should be made in future study. (1) selecting respondents based on the age and not the grade level; (2) comparing two groups of the same age and aptitude; (3) considering the quality relationship and extent of interaction between the able-bodied and disabled child in the definition of the term exposed.
