Abstract
With the passage of the Magna Carta, there is a great need of the upliftment of the lives of the impaired and disabled. In view of this need, PT services need to be extended to municipalities that do not have such amenities, like Marikina. The study is based on the survey and review of documents using the questionnaire and interview method to gather data in five (5) major hospitals in Marikina and in two (2) existing PT clinics nearby. The data from the questionnaire was tallied, tabulated, and analyzed. Majority of the data obtained were from the Garcia General Hospital. There will be a partnership between DLSU-Aguinaldo and Garcia General Hospital. The clinic will employ 1 physiatrist, 1 staff PT, 5 PT interns. The target market is the Marikina populace afflicted by conditions which may benefit from physical therapy services. The projects will need a capital outlay of 500.000.00 Basic financial assumptions was placed to increase by 10% yearly. The projected net income on the fifth operation is 1,330.013.84. Payback period is two years. The project will benefit the populace of Marikina, the professionals and DLSU-Aguinaldo PT interns.
