Abstract
With the spread of AIDS worldwide, the Philippine government is on alert to prevent its citizens from getting infected. Teenagers who are vulnerable to their environment are easily exposed to the campaign against AIDS and for the benefits of the new risk groups which are the teenagers, this survey aims to determine their level of knowledge and attitude towards AIDS. This is descriptive study using questionnaires which were distributed to the student of DBBRCHS. Stratified random sampling was done to cover the whole population wherein two sections were drawn per year level. Data was analyzed by computing the percentages of the answers of the subjects and presented with graphs and tables. A conversion table was used to qualify the percentage of correct answers concerning the level of knowledge. Results of the study showed a low level of knowledge regarding AIDS among students of DBBRCHS while their attitude towards AIDs showed to be in favor of its prevention. Researchers recommend that there should be an inclusion of AIDs topic on their sex education classes starting from the first year level and that a similar study should be done to other schools in Cavite such as F. Tirona High Scholl Kawit, Cavite.
