Abstract
The result of Physical Therapy Board Exam reflect its input of knowledge, skills and training of a school to its products. This study then aims to determine the correlation between the Academic Performance of DLSU- A PT graduates Batch 1993 with their performance in the board exam. From a total of 85 DLSU-A PT graduate only 74 were included in the study based on the criteria set in the sample selection. Records of these graduates were obtained and analyzed using Chi- Square Test for testing the difference between the two means and the Person's correlation. Chi- Square test, revealed no significant relationship of Transferees of Non-transferees with their performance in the Philippine Physical Therapy Board Exam (PTBE). The General Weighted Average in the 1st and 2nd year (GWA12) showed no correlation with the PTBE outcome. While the General Weighted Average of 3rd, 4th (GWA34) and Internship grades are important factors that can influence the Physical Therapy Board Exam results.
