Abstract
This study aimed to determine the incidence of primary type frozen shoulder among female teachers of Dasmariñas National High School. Study population consisted of female teachers aging from 50 -65 yrs. old, a full time teachers, who have developed shoulder pain and stiffness while working as a teacher, no known medical conditions that may cause shoulder pain, and who agreed to cooperate with the study. A total of 20 teachers qualified for the study. Data gathering was done with the use of questionnaires. These were distributed to 40 teachers of Dasmariñas National High School. Out of these 40 teachers, 20 have satisfied the criteria laid down by the authors. Based on the results obtained, the author therefore concluded that 65% of the respondents have experienced pain on the shoulder. The most common factor that causes pain is writing on the back and back of head is the most limited motion. Lastly, out of these 20 respondents, 15 teachers do not have an idea of their shoulder condition.
