Abstract
Patient satisfaction measures are among the most frequently used techniques in health care assurance. However, patient satisfaction has not been closely monitored in Physical Therapy. It is in this concept that a group of students from DLSU-HSC conducted a survey with regards to the outpatient satisfaction on the services provided by DLSUMC-Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. The main objective of this study was to determine the level of satisfaction of the outpatients in the quality of care in the services rendered by the DLSUMC-DPMR. This is a descriptive of closed-ended likert scale, and openeded questions was used to determine the patients level of satisfaction. The questionnaires were gathered , tallied and tabulated. Results revesal that a big percentages of the subjects belong to 35-50 years old. Majority were male, married, employed and college graduate. For items covering structural elements, patients were noted to be satisfied. For items covering respectful, treatment with dignity, treatment as an individual and clear explanation of care; patients were found to be highly satisfied on this area. To conclude, PT outpatients of DLSUMC-DPMR were satisfied with the overall rehabilative care rendered by the rehabilitation clinic.
