Abstract

The study composed of 85 subjects treated at DLSUDMC-DPM&R as of March 2004 by means of quota sampling. Majority of the subjects constituted 30-34 years of age, mostly female, married college graduate and mostly having a monthly income of 11,000.00 pesos and above. With regards to patient satisfaction, therapists rapport is the main reason why patients were satisfied of the therapy services. This was followed by the courtesy and accommodating staff in the admitting section. However, scarcity of the therapeutic modalities and other Rehabilitation supplies emerged as the least basis for patients satisfaction. Good services of the Rehabilitation unit was the primary reason why majority of subjects ought to seek PT services of the DLSUMC-DPM&R followed by Proximity to residence and due to the Doctors referral.
