Abstract
T^=his study aimed to determine the effectiveness of the Patient Education Program on mothers of Brgy. Gregorio Trece Martirez, Cavite. Research Design: Two Pair Group Pre-test Post-test quasi-experimental. Setting: Brgy. Hall at Brgy. Gregorio Trece Martirez, Cavite; July 3, 2005. Participants/ Respondents: 30 mothers who came for the education program. Procedures/ Interventions: Program started with the registration of the participants, and then followed by the pre-test. Afterwards, lecture and demonstration with hands-on exercises were done. Post-tests were given after. Main Outcome Measures: A criteria was to gauge the effectiveness of the program each item on the questionnaire. Results and discussion: 0.109195413. T value 35.44 which is greater than the critical value 1.672. The program was moderately effective based from the criteria set to assess its effectiveness. Conclusion: In general, based on the average of the difference of pre and post test, the Patient Education Program regarding Obstetric Rehabilitation on the mothers of Brgy. Gregorio Trece Martirez Cavite has been moderately effective in improving the respondents knowledge regarding Obstetric Rehabilitation.
