The functional status assessed in this study shows that the elderly have excellent performances in drinking from a cup, eating and grooming while washing or bathing item made the elderly totally dependent. Mobility performance showed that the item getting in and out of chair, getting on the off the toilet and getting in and out of shower were items that clearly elderly performed well. However, the item walking up and down one flight of stairs is nearly impossible to perform. The general analysis of self care implies that performing self care would yield better scores compared to mobility task.
