Abstract
This quantitative study aims to determine the level of extent of the stated barriers experienced by employed PWDs. The researchers gathered 25 vocationally trained PWD employees in PDAO, Carmona, Cavite; Literate; Ages 20-60 years old that have mild, physical and intellectual disabilities, wo are currently applying or have had job experience. The respondents answered a questionnaire that determines the extent of barriers under environmental, task-relates, social and personal experience by the PWD employees. Purposive sampling was used in this study. Data was analyzed through percentage, weighted mean, Kruskall WAllis and H test and Mann-Whitney U Test. Results of the study shows that there is little extent experienced on environmental, task-related, social and personal barriers. Conclusion of this study indicates that high school graduate, females ages 20-29 with hearing disability with a job identified as rarely experiences barriers such as environmental, task-related, social and personal.
