Abstract

This study made use of descriptive explanatory type of research. The respondents of the study were comprised of faculty members from different departments and fifteen (15) administrators of DLSU-A which summed up to 725 respondents. A sample of 568 was conveniently selected out of 1,078 total population. The primary instrument in this research was a questionnaire or a checklist by the PAASCU. The statistical treatment utilized in the study were frequency count, mean, and ANOVA. 1) As evaluated by the students, faculty, and administrators, the strengths of the physical plant of De La Salle University – Aguinaldo were in areas of site, campus, building, food service areas, and offices and staff rooms. The weaknesses were on areas such as building services, student activities, and clinic and infirmary; 2) The students assessed the campus as the only strength of the physical plant. On the other hand, the rest of the areas were assessed as weaknesses; 3) The faculty evaluated the following areas as the strengths of the physical plant: site and campus. On the other hand, the following areas are classified as weaknesses: building, building services, offices and staff rooms, student activity, and clinic, or infirmary; 4) The administrators assessed all the areas included in the physical plant as strengths; 5) There is a significant differences in the assessment of the students, faculty, and administrators in relation to all of the different areas of physical plant.
