Abstract

This study used the descriptive type of research method. A questionnaire was constructed and distributed to 100 working mothers selected using purposive sampling technique. Data was checked and analyzed using frequency distribution, weighted mean, t-test and ANOVA. The study concluded that there is no significant difference in the level of performance of working mothers with regard to duties to herself, husband, children and community when grouped according to type of family and number of children. However, there is a difference on the level of performance of working mothers when they are grouped according to age with regard to her duties to husband and when grouped according to marital status with regard to duties to the community.
