What is the healing process of infected wounds applied with Betadine antiseptic in terms f: a. length of healing time b. reaction 3. Is there a significant difference in the effect of garlic extract and Betadine antiseptic on the wound healing process in terms of: a. length of healing time b. reaction This is a quasi-experimental study to determine the effects of garlic on the wound healing process among selected children (3-10 years) in Tramo, Binakayan, Kawit, Cavite. The total population of the subject used were divided into 15 for the control group and 15 for the experimental group. Based on the findings, the researchers concluded that there was no significant difference between garlic extracted juice and betadine antiseptic in treating wound among 15 experimental and control group in terms of healing time and reaction. Therefore garlic can be used as an alternative healing agent on the wounds in the absence of betadine.
