Abstract
This study aims specifically at the following: 1. To determine the nurses' perception of their hospital environment in terms of: a. physical set-up b. number of patients c. availability of supplies/facilities d. schedule of duty e. support system 2. To determine the perceived level of performance of staff nurses at DLSUMC. 3. To determine the perceived level of performance of staff nurses at DLSUMC. 3. To determine if there is a relationship between any of the factors in the hospital environment to the perceived level of performance of staff nurses at DLSUMC. This research is about the significant relationship of the hospital environment to the perceived level of performance of staff nurses assigned at the wards of DLSUMC. The total number of respondents is 30 regardless of age, sex and civil status, considering only the years of experience as a staff nurse.
