Age has a significant effect on the anxiety level of the whole group of respondents during treatment phase whether exposed or not exposed to music therapy. 4. The anxiety level of the whole group exposed to music and not exposed to music had no significant difference. 5. Music therapy therefore has no effect when applied in the emergency room in lessening the anxiety level of the support system..
