Abstract
The descriptive research design was used in this study. Using purposive sampling technique, the respondents were limited to 386 individuals of the population, which belongs to the age bracket of 18 years and above, male or female, single or married, employed or unemployed, and with educational attainment of either elementary, high school or college out of 2,829 total population presently residing at Barangay Nicolas Virata, GMA, Cavite. The study utilized the direct or simple questionnaire method as the main tool of data gathering. The researchers used a set of checklist with a measurement scale. Frequency, mean, t-test and f-test were used for data analysis. These conclusions were drawn: 1) Most of the respondents were in the group of 18-38 years old, female, unemployed, married and attained high school level; 2) Respondents were highly compliant regarding environmental health practice on the prevention and cure of dengue fever; 3) There were no significant differences in the level of compliance on the preventive aspect when the respondents were grouped according to age, sex, civil status, occupation and educational attainment; 4) There were no significant differences in the level of compliance on the curative aspect when the respondents were grouped according to age, sex, civil status, occupation and educational attainment.
