This study made use of the descriptive survey method of investigation through questionnaires. The inst rument that was used in the study is in the form of questionnaire utilizing Likert scale wherein their knowledge and practice regarding nutrition will be graded with corresponding degree or level. The statistical treatment utilized in the study were frequency distribution, mean or weighted average, t-test, and f-test. 1) The respondents were 16-53 years old, most of them having reached high school, mostly Tagalogs, and having 3-4 children; 2) Generally, the mothers had slightly low to moderate nutrition knowledge which maybe attributed to the availability of informative nutrition campaign that supplements their knowledge in child nutrition and also their practices which may be molded or influenced by certain norms in Filipino culture; 3) There are no difference in the knowledge and practices of mothers regarding nutrition when grouped according to age, educational attainment, ethnicity, number of children, because of the prevalent and existing information campaign about nutrition and the practices they are accustomed to which makes them more aware of the necessities of properly feeding their children and also making them more sensitive and appreciative of their roles as primary caregivers in the family.
