Abstract

The study utilized an evaluation method of research. The respondents of this study were 110 patients in the emergency room at De La Salle University Medical Center. The researchers utilized a self-made questionnaire and modified some adapted tool from different studies. The statistical treatment used in the study were mean, f-test, and t-test. 1) Most respondents come from the 31-40 years of age group or the middle adulthood, male, Catholic, college graduates and were diagnosed with acute diseases; 2) The mean level of the quality of health care services as perceived by patients is very satisfactory; 3) The mean level of quality health care services of respondents when they were grouped according to age are the same. This means that the perception of quality of health care services does not vary in terms of age group; 4) The mean level of quality health care services of respondents when they were grouped according to gender is the same. It therefore indicates that regardless of gender, perception on the level of quality of health care services is the same; 5) The mean level of quality health care services of respondents when grouped according to educational attainment is the same. Educational attainment is only a way to develop relationship among co-workers and colleagues. It does not affect the respondents’ perception; 6) The mean level of quality of health care services of respondents when they were grouped according to religion varies. This means that quality health care services is dependent in the beliefs and practices of one person; 7) The mean level of quality health care services of the respondents when they were grouped according to type of conditions did not vary. Therefore, there is no variation in quality of health care services in terms of conditions.
