Abstract
A descriptive type of research was used in conducting the study. The subjects of the study, 150 respondents at the De La Salle University Medical center in the Outpatient Department, were selected by means of purposive non-probability sampling. The respondents were the OPD clients who sought consultation from April 10 to June 10 2002. The main tool used in gathering data was a guided checklist questionnaire. The tool on assessment of client’s satisfaction with health care providers at the OPD of FEU-NRMFH was adapted for the study. The statistical treatment utilized in the study were percentage, mean, f-test, and t-test.1) Most respondents of the stud consisted of clients who belonged to 26-40 y.o. group composing of the young adult, married, females with monthly income of P10,000 and below, resides on upland and catholic; 2) The overall mean of satisfaction on health services of clients in OPD was moderately satisfied in terms of technical performance, communication skills, quality time with the patient and access/ availability/convenience; 3) There was no significant difference on the client’s level of satisfaction of health services in OPD when they were grouped according to age, civil status, gender, and religion.
