Abstract
The type of research used in this study was a descriptive, non-experimental method. The respondents of the stud were the staff nurses in De La Salle University Medical Center regardless of their age, gender, accreditation status of school graduated and type of curriculum. The respondents of the study composed of 115, the total population of staff nurses in De La Salle University Medical Center. To gather data, the researchers adopted their tool from three different unpublished theses that conducted the same study and modified the contents into a checklist type of questionnaire consisting of two parts. The statistical treatment utilized in the study were relative frequency, mean, t-test, and f-test. Most of the respondents were in the young adulthood stage of life, female, graduated from schools with accreditation and under the new curriculum. The overall level f perception of staff nurses in DLSUMC regarding the factors associated with passing the nurse licensure examination is high. There was no significant difference in the perception of staff nurses in DLSUMC regarding the review factors associated with passing the nurse licensure examination when grouped according to age, gender, accreditation status of school graduated and type of curriculum. Furthermore, there was a significant difference in the perception of staff nurses in DLSUMC regarding the student factors associated with passing the nurse licensure examination when grouped according to age and type of curriculum and no significant difference when grouped according to gender and school graduated. Moreover, there was no significant difference in the perception of the staff nurses in DLSUMC regarding the curricular factors associated with passing the nurse licensure examination when grouped according to age and no significant difference when grouped according to gender, accreditation of school graduated and type of curriculum.
