Abstract
The study was done to determine the association between the parental smoking status and the status selected nursing students of De La Salle-Health Sciences Campus. Specific Specifically, the purpose of the study was to determine: 1.The profile of the selected nursing students when they are group according to gender, religion, and family income: 2.The status of the selected nursing students for the part three months: 3.The profile of the smoking respondents in terms of: a.age when they started smoking; and b.b. number of cigarettes smoked per week; 4.The smoking status of parents for the past three months; 5.The profile of the smoking mothers in terms of: a.age when they started smoking: b.amount of cigarettes consumed; and c.age when they stopped smoking; 6.The profile of the smoking fathers in terms of: a.age when they started smoking; b.amount of cigarettes consumed, and c.age when they stopped smoking; and 7.The Association between parental smoking status and the smoking status of selected nursing students of De La Salle-Health Sciences Campus.
