Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY A.General This study aimed to determine the level of stress of menopausal women at selected barangays in Malagasang II, Imus, Cavite. B.Specific a.To determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age, civil status, monthly income, employment status, educational attainment, number of menopausal years, and health status. b.To determine the level of stress of menopausal women. c.To determine if there are any significant differences in the level of stress of menopausal women when grouped according to age, civil status, monthly income, employment status, educational attainment, number of menopausal years, and health status. SCOPE AND COVERAGE: This study focused on the level of stress as experienced by menopausal women. The direct association of demographic factors such as age, civil status, monthly income, employment status, educational attainment, number of menopausal years and health status on the level of stress of menopausal women was also investigated.The respondents of this study were selected using the following criteria: a.) should be residing at barangay Malagasang II - A and barangay Malagasang II - F Imus, Cavite; b.) aging 40-55 years old and have experienced menopause; c.) coherent and could read and write; d.) should understand either Filipino or English language; and e.) willing to participate and answer the questionnaire.
