Abstract

OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY A. General To determine the level of anxiety of the pregnant women regarding perceived labor process in selected barangays of Dasmariñas, Cavite B. Specific To determine: a .The profile of the pregnant women in selected barangays of Dasmariñas, Cavite when grouped according to age, educational attainment, marital status, gravida score, experience of miscarriage, socio-economic status and term of pregnancy. b.The level of anxiety of the pregnant women in selected barangays of Dasmariñas, Cavite regarding perceived labor process. c.If there are significant differences in the level of anxiety of pregnant women in selected barangays in Dasmariñas, Cavite regarding perceived labor process when grouped according to age, educational attainment, marital status, gravida score, experience of miscarriage, socio-economic status, and term of pregnancy. SCOPE AND COVERAGE: The study focused mainly on the level of anxiety of pregnant women regarding perceived labor process. The group selected not less than one hundred (100) pregnant women from different barangays of Dasmariñas, Cavite. The study did not take into consideration the age, educational attainment, socio-economic, marital status, experience of miscarriage, gravida and term of pregnancy of the pregnant women in choosing them as the sample in the study population. The study population could be composed of either a primigravida of multigravida. The study also tackled the factors that may affect the level of anxiety of the pregnant women as a result of the conducted quantitative study.
