Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY A. General To determine the factors associated with the use of alcohol beverage of Bachelor of Science in Nursing Batch 2008 and its effect to their academic performance. B. Specific 1.To be able to determine the profile of the respondents in terms of age, gender, educational attainment, employment status, monthly income and family history of hypertension. 2.To determine the level of compliance of selected hypertensive patients regarding their non-pharmacologic management. 3.To determine the significant difference in the level of compliance to their non-pharmacologic management of hypertensive clients when grouped according to age, gender, educational attainment, employment status, monthly income, and family history of hypertension. SCOPE AND COVERAGE: This study focuses on the level of compliance of hypertensive clients regarding their non-pharmacologic management. The population of the study covers one hundred (100) cases of hypertension in Dasmariñas, Cavite. Barangay Salitran II, San Agustin III and Burol V were selected as the most accessible areas for the researchers in Dasmariñas, Cavite with updated health statistics record and sufficient number of hypertensive clients. Respondents were selected based on medically diagnosed with hypertension whether taking or not taking anti-hypertensive drugs, regardless of age, family history of hypertension and duration of illness.
