Abstract
This study aspired to determine the level of awareness on deep breathing exercise in preventing postoperative complication of patients who will undergo abdominal operation at De La Salle University Medical Center. 1. What is the profile of the respondents when they are grouped according to age, monthly income, gender, civil status, educational attainment, religious affiliation and history of previous operation 2. What is the level of awareness on deep breathing exercise in preventing postoperative complications of patients who will undergo abdominal operation at De La Salle University Medical Center? 3. Is there any significant difference in the level of awareness on deep breathing exercise in preventing postoperative complications of patients who will undergo abdominal operation at De La Salle University Medical Center when they are grouped according to age, monthly income, gender, civil status, educational attainment, religious affiliation and history of previous operation?
