Abstract

To assess the level pf awareness and compliance on Breast Self-Examination among women in selected Barangays in Imus, Cavite as a bais for a development of health campaign material. SPECIFIC 1,To determine the profile of the respondents according to age civil status, educational attainment, socio economic status, religion and family history of breast cancer. 2.To determine the level of awareness of the respondents regarding breast self examination. 3.To determine the level of compliance of the respondents regarding breast self examination. 4.To determine the significant difference in the level of awareness regarding breast self examination when the respondents are grouped according to age, civil status, educational attainment, socio economic status, religion and family history of breast cancer. 5.To determine the significant difference in the level of compliance regarding breast self examination to age, civil status, educational attainment socio economic status, region and family history of breast cancer. 6.To determine the significant relationship between level of awareness and level of compliance of the respondents on breast self examination. 7.To determine what health campaign material can be developed based on the level of awareness and compliance of the respondents regarding breast self-examination.
