Abstract
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY: To determine the level of knowledge of pregnant women to Newborn Screening Tests in selected areas of Silang and Bacoor Cavite: A Basis for the Development of a Health Education Package SPECIFIC To determine 1.The profile of the pregnant women in terms of age, number of children, age of gestation, civil status, educational attainment, monthly family income and source of health care. 2.The level of knowledge to Newborn Screening Tests in Selected areas of Silang and Bacoor, Cavite. 3.If there are significant differences in the level of knowledge of pregnant women to Newborn Screening Tests when grouped according to age, number of children, age of gestation, civil status, educational attainment, monthly family income and source of health care. 4.What health education package can be developed considering the level of knowledge of pregnant women from Silang and Bacoor Cavite regarding Newborn Screening Test?
