Abstract

The study utilized the descriptive analytical design which included 263 nursing students of Batch 2009 of De La Salle Health Sciences Institute, chosen through purposive sampling. A self-made questionnaire was utilized and went through validity testing with two faculty members of Biological Sciences Department of De La Salle Dasmarinas and two from the College of Nursing and School of Midwifery De La Salle Health Sciences Institute. The following modalities were used: frequency distribution, percentage, arithmetic mean, standard deviation, t-test and f-test. The study concluded that; 1) Majority of the respondents were females and their source of information about global warming and its implications to health was the TV. Most of the respondents were Catholic; 2) Nursing students’ batch 2009 of DLSHSI had a high level of awareness regarding global warming and its implications to health; 3) Female nursing students of DLSHSI batch 2009 with different religion have the same level of awareness regarding the global warming.
